About Novasign
Novasign builds software for bioprocessing that turns process data into models, knowledge and decisions. It serves biopharma, CDMOs and industrial biotech, from food technology to enzymes. Novasign was founded in August 2019 as a BOKU University spin-off, based in Vienna, Austria.
Since then Novasign has worked with clients in biopharmaceuticals, food technology and enzyme manufacturing, helping them reach better processes with fewer experiments, bring products to market faster and keep what each project teaches for the next one.

Bespark*bio
Bespark*bio delivers process development for vaccines, immuno-oncology and cell and gene therapy, and uses Novasign’s hybrid modelling to reduce experimental workload and deepen process understanding.

BOKU University
Novasign is a spin-off of BOKU University in Vienna, where its spin-off centre helped bring the technology to market. Its core facilities give Novasign access to high-performance analytics, such as surface plasmon resonance, bio-layer interferometry and mass spectrometry.

Process control and data management

A software platform for data management, monitoring and process control in biomanufacturing. Process data reaches Novasign Studio through the Qubicon connector, and in ECONTI Novasign’s models ran inside the Qubicon automation environment.
Computational fluid dynamics
SimVantage
Experts in computational fluid dynamics with a fast CFD solver. Together, reactor characteristics from CFD and Novasign’s hybrid models support the scale-up of a process.
