Markus is an expert in bioprocess engineering and fermentation technology at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna. He is head of the "BioIndustrial Pilot Plant" at the Department of Biotechnology. He is also an expert in online monitoring systems, process modeling and control, process automation systems, scale-up and large scale production in a GMP environment.
