Updated: Apr 10, 2020
From the 17th to the 20th of September, the 10th ÖGMBT Annual Meeting took place in Vienna. Over 450 participants including employees from large pharmaceutical companies, equipment vendors and students met at the campus of the University of Vienna. They presented the latest results in different scientific fields, ranging from all fields of biotechnology, drug screening, and oncology to cancer metabolism. Also, Benjamin presented the latest results generated within the Novasign project, followed by a long and intense discussion with industries and academia.
After three intense days of interesting talks and productive networking, the 10th ÖGMBT Annual Meeting finally found its end with the closing ceremony. Today we are proud that Benjamin won the price for the best student talk at this interesting and broadly positioned conference. His talk entitled “Design of experiment in the PAT/QbD concept – a comparative study of various design spaces for E. coli fed-batch processes”, forming the basis for our upstream publications, was elected from over 100 talks.
